To start out with I would just like to mention that My current set up was my first build and I knew little of PSUs(I don't know much more now) when I set it up so its more luck than anything that it all worked out. Outside of require W's I'm lost.

I read through the stickies on this board and it still left me confused :S

So, I have been looking into upgrading my graphics card and I am a little flummoxed as to whether or not my current PSU is up to much.

I have a Antec TruePower New TP-550 550W.

Now the GPU I am looking to upgrade to are either a GTX 680 or a 770 (both are similar in power consumption). A GTX 680 has a minimum requirement of 550w PSU and 38A on the 12V rail.

My PSU has :
+3.3V@25A, +5V@25A, +12V1@20A, +12V2@20A, +12V3@20A, +12V4@20A, -12V@0.8A, +5VSB@3.0A

Other spec:
Mobo: MSI ZH77A-G43
CPU: i5 2500k (@ 3.3GHz)
RAM: 8gb (DDR3 2x 4gb)
GPU: Asus GTX 560Ti (1gb) (which has a 31A requirement)

Basically I am just confused, any and all advice or help would be great.

I did read those but after a quick re read I am on track! After opening my case up there is a huge sticker on the side of the PSU that tells me what I need to know (45A on the 12V rail)
