I've noticed a buzzing noise while playing games. I decided to open up the case and listen, and there is a faint buzzing noise coming from the CPU area. It seems to get louder when I run games or Unigine Heaven. Anyone know what this is?
Nevermind, it's coming from the PSU. When load is put on GPU, it starts to buzz quite loudly, and then stops for a while. After each buzz, I can here a high pitched sound. Do I send this is for a replacement?
I might suspect that your cpu cooling fan or gpu cooler fan is hitting some wire.
To localize the source more exactly, make up a long tube out of newspaper and use it as an earphone to see where the noise is coming from.

It's actually not the CPU. It listened up close at load and it's the PSU. Whenever I put load on the GPU (with Unigine) I can here short periods of fairly loud buzzing coming from the PSU. Only when on load.
