After having memory issues with my cpu I uninstalled it then to my surprise found some bent pins bent them back but now the processor is not fitting back down all the way in the socket I know this because when I boot nothing jus a black screen now and I can see that it is pushed down all the way on some of the CPU but one of the corners dosnt go down all the way , would that mean that the pins in the socket are damaged as well also , I'm certain the damage occurred when I uninstalled the crap amd stock cooler that was so hard to get on when I tried to take it off it ripped the CPU out of the socket , I overlooked the bent pins because there was only 2 and I just did not see it , I have a ga990 fxa ud3 board with a fx8320 , I have a feeling I'm Gona have to get a new board / CPU and I don't think they'll cover it under warrenty .

- AMD won't care or help.
- Gigabyte will if it's under warranty or you can try customer service.
- Broken motherboard socket is a no-go. You'll have to get that professionally repaire.
- Bent CPU pins are okay. Use the end of a mechanical pencil to straighten them out. This is what I do, and it works okay. Be very gentle.
