Buzzing coming from PSU

My PSU is a Corsair HX850. While playing a game, I noticed when my fan curve cranked up the GPU, my PSU started to buzz. Like, fairly loud buzz. I tested this in Unigine. Whenever the GPU fan cranks up, the PSU starts buzzing for short periods of time, after each period I can heard a faint high pitch. Is this damaging anything? Should I send it in for a replacement?

Best to contact Corsair customer support and see what they say about the noise comming from power supply, the unit has a seven year warranty on it so an RMA should not be a problem if they think it is deffective, I have heard of this problem before, it is not uncommon. Give them a call or e-mail them and see what they say.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I will do. This is unlikely, but do you think a bad wall outlet (the particular one I'm plugged into is extremely old) has something to do with this? I don't see how it would, but I'm just trying to eliminate all possibilities. I swear, I seem to have the worst luck with power supplies.

Unless it strays from your countries standard Voltage/Current situation no.

Just as I thought. The PSU is damaged somehow, then.
