Hi,

My computer has been experiencing boot loops, originally i assumed it was the PSU, however after replacing it I discovered that that wasn't the problem. Secondly I returned the motherboard, hoping that it was the cause, but after 8 months of waiting for customer services to return it I installed it today at I am still experiencing boot loops.

I have since removed the hard drives, the GPU, tried corsair and G-Skill ram in every avaliable slot to no avail.

Please any help will be appreciated, Thanks in advance!

Gavin

I had this trouble with mine when i rebuilt it so that i could clean my CPU Cooler and replace the thermal compound.

Mine was due to the Sata cable, i had placed it in the wrong socket on the motherboard. I put my primary hard drive Sata cable from Sata_1 to Sata_0. Again switch them round to see if it will work.

See if that will work :)

Ok now i've rearranged the SATA cables, the computer stays on but there is no visual. I have tried a different monitor, but that didn't work either. just to clarify i have taken the GPU out, so the monitor is plugged into the motherboard.

Also when the ram is in slot A2, i get continual boot loops, but in slot A1 it stays on.

Do you get any numbers on black screen? Dying hard drive will cause loop as well. I am not sure if onboard video turns on by itself when GPU unplugged. To use both there are settings in BIOS, but I never had to unplug one.

Ther are no numbers, the screen doesn't react to the computer at all. At the moment I am reseating every component - if this does not work then i will send each part back, as I have done everything i can to fix it.
