The answer to your question is yes.

Microsoft Windows 7 will take up about 20 to 24 GB of space. You will also be able to install your software applications, utilities, and a few of your favorite games on the ssd. The hard disk drive can be used to store data files and additional games. You can easily swap out games between the ssd and the hard drive. It is very easy to do. It is a typical configuration.

So will the game need to be on the SSD to be able to use it??

You may install a game on the ssd or you may install a game on the hard drive. The choice is yours. Typically gamers will install just a few of their favorite games on the ssd and play those while other games are installed on the hard drive. If they get tired of playing the games on the ssd they swap them for games stored on the hard drive.
