Hey all. Recently my computer's cursor started to freak out and constantly move on its own in a secluded corner of my desktop. It does not respond to my mouse movements and constantly returns back to the mentioned corner and moves rapidly on its own.
I took out my mouse and placed it within another usb port to no avail. Finally I restarted my computer with the mouse unplugged just to find that the cursor was still moving in the corner by itself. This lead me to believe that my mouse drivers must've been corrupted/damaged. This would make sense since prior to that i was trying to install a flashing software for my Android but I was messing about with some drivers (stupid, I know).
Anyhow, I did a system restore from a previous date before I was messing with the drivers but still the problem persisted. Eventually I bit the bullet and did a full Windows restore without any backup of my files (sigh) but even then the cursor was still buggered.
Now it has lead me to believe that either my whole Windows registry is corrupted or there's a hardware fault at hand.
I'm asking the community if they have any solutions to this problem, otherwise I'm thinking of just rebuilding a new rig in a few months time.
Thanks for any help given.
