Portal 2 Lag after opening a portal

Just bought portal 2 and i am at the very beginning of the game. After wheatley doing manual override, i'm at the testing tracks. At that moment, FPS seems smooth and clean, but after opening a portal or two, FPS dropped ALOT, dropped to 10 fps or lower. But if not looking through the portal or the portal is out of range, fps is good. Is there any way to force my graphics card to maximize the performance?

Spec:
Windows 7 - 32 Bit
Intel Core i5-3210M (4 CPUs)
AMD Radeon 7670M
12 GB RAM

Sounds like a game issue or a driver issue.

1 - Make sure you have the latest certified drivers from AMD. Try.

2 - Reinstall the game. Try

3 - Contact Valve Support.
