I have an x51 pro flight control system. I tried updating the drives, I said "If you wish to update drives, please plug the device in." The joystick at the time was plugged in. And I tried different USB ports on my computer, nothing. Also only two lights lit up... Can somebody help me? Thanks, Gerren.

Edit* I'm on windows 7 64bit ultimate.

Hmm, I have the x52 but I never did get much use out of it. You could use driver sweeper to get rid of the old drivers and then install the new drivers instead of the ones on the cd. But then, I guess that you run the risk of not being able to install the drivers at all because the system might not recognize the stick. Have you looked under devices and printers to make sure that the machine is recognizing the stick. If the system recognizes it then the problem must be related to the set up not being able to "notice" the stick.

I'm guessing that the usb ports are working just fine right? Only two lights lit up...Maybe the stick is starting to go bad? or maybe the cable is "bad". Try attaching it to another machine if you can or play around with the cable as it is plugged in. Not much else you can do. GL.
