Hey all, i have a problem. My pc is shutting down randomly. It's a custom build that i built a year ago. (Maybe longer)
I've ruled out it being a heating problem, as i monitored the temperature of my graphics card and Cpu and it still shut down.
The shut downs are random, and i'm starting to think it's a Power supply problem, but i want another opinion.

PC Specs -

CPU - Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz running at 42C currently.
Ram - Corsair 2x4Gb DDR3 Vengeance memory, 1600mhz
PSU is old, but - Arctic Power 700W
HDD - Not sure now, 500gb
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon hd 5770
Mobo - Gigabyte M68MT-S2

Obviously this was built on a low budget, first build. I'm 17, was 16 or 15 when i built it.
System Event log is
Event ID 41, Source Kernel-Power
Last hour - 2, 24 hours 6, 7 days 19.
It's happening more and more frequently.

I've tried testing the ram individually, and it made no difference. I doubt it's the ram. If it's the psu could you recommend a replacement for around the £50.. I'm under a really tight budget/lacking funds..

This power supplyshould fit your budget, but do not know if you can find it in the U.K. SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply. In the U.S. it is listed for 42.96 GBP
