I have an Intel Core i7-3770K 4.6 GHz and am thinking of buying the new Radeon HD 7990 very soon. I'm going to buy the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 1500W PSU as well, because I might want to get another HD 7990 after a couple of years! I'd like to ask if the maximum output of the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand PSU is 1500 or 1600W, because in some places I find that it's 1500W and in others - 1600W. Thanks in advance!

Wouldn't suggest TT PSUs, though I would imagine the high-end ones aren't as bad as the low-end ones. 1500W is overkill. I expect that the 1600W is peak power vs continuous.

Tom's' 7990 review found that it was less consistent than a 690 - suggest you look around REALLY hard before buying anything worth $1K.

I hope you have a nice monitor setup to use all that graphics grunt - 2560x1440 would be a walk in the park for a 7990.

Have a look at this for your power needs:

For 2x 7990's it recommends a 1042W PSU, so getting a 1200W PSU should be enough. Just make sure to get a proper PSU, an 80+ certified one preferably (as Someone Somewhere indicated).
An Amazon link to a nice PSU: Seasonic 1250XM

As he also indicated, maybe rather have a look at a GTX690. Doing proper research is key before doing such a big buy. Ask around, look at more than one review.

Again as he stated, you better be running a proper multi-screen setup or something for this card, especially if you are looking at getting a 2nd one. This card is overkill for normal 1080p gaming.
