When loading pages, with only a few (<5) tabs open, chrome will shoot up to as high as 75-85% CPU usage.
Is this normal? I've got an i5 3570k (3.4 Ghz currently not OCd) processor, I feel like that's a LOT of CPU power (75% of it, if that's what Task Manager is implying) for something as simple as loading a web page.
Update: I wanted to add that Chrome does *not* use overt amounts of CPU (even with lots and lots of tabs open) when it's 'idle'. It seems strictly related to loading pages, playing a video on youtube, for example, uses <5% CPU.
