I want a MECHANICAL gaming keyboard that looks nice, black or grey and has a backlit RED or can be changed to RED... I want it to have extra programmable buttons "not much" and audio jack for the headphones

  1. The Cooler Master Storm Trigger keyboard seems to fit that description and features Cherry MX brown switches - this article explains about the various switches used on mechanical keyboards http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide if you have a preference for switch types, that'll help us recommend something more specific
  2. I use a Ducky DK2108 with brown switches. If you want a good mechanical then go Ducky or Razer.

    a good option:

  3. I'm not a fan of razor, and I liked that Storn Trigger it's pretty amazing, any other options?
  4. I'm sorry I didn't realize it doesn't have audio jack!
  5. what about a G510?
  6. I wore out a G15, forerunner of the 510, and am typing this on a G510. My only complaint is that the letters and numbers are average/small size and my old eyes don't see them very well. The lighting is very good. You want red, you can choose red, or any other color of the spectrum. I like green at night and yellow or white during the day. The 18X3 macro keys are awesome.
I don't use them for gaming but have internet shortcuts set up on most of them.
    Hope this helps.
P.S. The new model is the G510S and costs about $20 USD more then the original 510. Newegg still has the 510 and currently it's $99, but shop around; someone must have it on sale.

For what you wanted I think you made the right choice. I almost bought that one too.
