I accidently deleted the Path variable on my windows vista 32bit.

Right-click My Computer and click Properties then click Advanced System Settings link in the left column. In the System Properties window click the Environment Variables button. You shouldn't need to check it but restart the computer and go back in to make sure the setting remains in place.
