PSP-E1000 wi-fi hardware chip?

Is it possible to allow for wi-fi on a psp-e1000 by soldering a wi-fi chip on to the motherboard and then mapping the wi-fi on switch to buttons?

Well, it would be difficult. I don't know much about electronics when it comes to soldering, but I do know that, if you want it to do that, you'll have to do some software hacking. You should've bought a 3000 one and avoid all of this. But if you know, go ahead.
