sure... that gpu will work just fine. pci-e 1.0 is compatible with pci-e 3.0 just fine.

The problem is some AMD/ATI cards did not work with early PCI-E 1.0 chipsets.

The G41 and G31 did not have that problem. It is only the pre-G31 chipset that has that issue.

nvidia have no issues.amd have in older pci 1.0 issues while not in 1.1 provided your bios is upto date.

@op make sure you have latest bios
