Hi guys ,

New to this forum but some interesting stuff going on!
Would like to ask for your advice, Im currently an Automotive design student so I do a lot of live 3D rendering and animation, Im approaching my final year and my macbook pro isn't quite keeping up with me any more and am looking to build a PC just for work.

On my quest so far this seems to be the spec to go for:

Cooler Master Silencio 650 Case - Black - No PSU

Corsair Hydro Series H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

XFX ProSeries 850W Black Edition Power Supply - 80PLUS Gold Certified

Pioneer DVR-S20LBK 24x SATA DVD ReWriter - Black - Retail inc Label Flash

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB GDDR5

GIGABYTE GA-X79-UP4 Intel X79 (Socket 2011) Motherboard

3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7 3770K 3.50GHz Socket LGA1155 - Retail.

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-14900 C10 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit

Crucial M4 7mm 512GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive – Retail

What do you guys think? is there any changes you would recommend? I have looked into quadro 2000/4000 cards but are they really worth it?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

i would suggest something like this
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/108Zw

a quadro card may be better in some situations and a geforce card may be better in others.
