Hi guys, I want to build a new pc and with Haswell round the corner it seemed logical to go for a Haswell build.

I have been looking in advance for deals to build my pc and I came across some ram that I like and I was hoping someone can help me answer whether it would work with lga 1150 motherboards (Haswell motherboards).

The ram is: http://

Because no lga 1150 motherboards are actually released yet, I can't seem to find any info on it. All I know about the lga 1150 motherboards is that it supports ddr3 but I can't find anything on the amount of pins (this ram is 240 pin) and on the voltage (this ram is 1.5v). Does this differ from motherboard to motherboard or are all lga 1150 motherboard the same with regards to this question? If its different I probably wait till Haswell comes out and choose a motherboard first before buying any ram in case its not compatible.

Thanks

Solution
Wait it out, that RAM is 1333MHz anyway, you should be looking at 1600/1866MHz.

Easiest way to ensure compatibility is by checking the manufacturer memory support list.

Thanks

So say if you were me, do you think its highly likely to work or will you wait it out?

Its just that the deal is going to end tomorrow so pretty much need a quick decision.

Is there any other things I need to look out for when buying ram in terms of compatibility apart from making sure its DDR3, its 240 pins and checking that the voltage is compatible for the motherboard?

Thanks
