As the topic says, i get the known error message "The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the Windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continue".

I only get this error whenever i play Minecraft or any modpack like Tekkit or Feed the Beast.

Either i get a few coloured screens in green, pink or blue then the game crashed and it gives me the mentioned error.
Or, which is the more frequent case, i get a complete computer freeze. Nothing happens anymore. Music stops, Teamspeak, just everything. Only the restart button helps then.

First i tried to close everything beside Minecraft. Nothing changed, same two errors appeared again.

After hours of testing with new versions of Minecraft, my NVIDIA driver, java and everything else which is required to play the game. I even tried older versions but again, nothing changed :(

I googled the problem and found tons of solutions, like changing the timeout of the driver to the display with the help of window's "fixit50848 program" and also tried it manually, or turning off CUDA and a bunch of another settings in the NVIDIA control panel.
I monitored my graphic card's heat, the load of the gpu core, the memory and everthing else you can monitor on a gpu, but i couldn't find any evidence why it crashes or freezes my computer.

I've reinstalled my complete windows about 3 times now, every time, just with the most necessary programs to run Minecraft, but it keeps killing my computer...

My computer:

Intel i7-2600k
Point os View TGT GeForce GTX 570 2.5GB Ultra Charged
16GB RAM
775W Thermaltake
Windows 7 Home Prem. SP1 64bit

Sometimes i've got this issue with Battlefield 3, but about one in twenty times and only after about 5 hours of playing without any gpu overheating or whatever.

I'm out of ideas now and requesting your help guys!!

Is advanced open GL disabled or enabled in MC setting?

Can you run the open GL test in NVIDIA control panel and post your Dxdiag.
Thanks
