vsync question fps

Hello, so I was wondering is there any way to set vsync to set my fps limit to 120 I have a 670 sli and some games I want to keep vsync off but the fps go above the monitors 120 fps refresh rate and you get the odd stutters and such. So is there any way of doing it?

It should automatically limit it to that if you selected 120Hz ingame.

A better solution is to use Rivatuner (included with MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision etc) and set an FPS limit through that. You avoid using Vsync so theres no mouse lag and theres no performance hit.

Just open Rivatuner, press the plus icon, add the games exe, then on the right you can set an FPS cap. Alternatively you can use Nvidia Inspector to modify the driver and set an FPS cap that way.
