With Phobya LED Flex Light UV, you can remove the molex adapter and power it via 3 pin fan from your motherboard. If I plan on using up all of my 3 pin fan connectors on my motherboard with fans, can I use a splitter to attach these lights? Or would the best bet to just plug them into the power supply. Only worry I have is being able to run through thought my case.

I'd go Molex over 3 pin just to not overload the board with power draws, especially if you planned to use splitters and fans too. Lets say the avg power fan connector on a motherboard is 12v@1amp and the fan you are using is 0.8amp, there is only 0.2amp left of power that the circuit was designed for. Using LED's, splitters, etc will effect that and could draw more power than it's made for and fry your motherboard.

A Molex plug can provide a huge amount of amps and you could run 1000 led's off 1 with no effect.

Thanks for the quick reply. I suppose you're right. I'll plug both of my strips into my PSU.

Here is the Strip just for reference (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13873/lit-280/Phobya_...)
