Hi, I got a problem, my PC freezes while playing certain games. The screen freezes,the ctrl-alt-del doesnt work, only sound continues however I can hear only some ambient looping from game, not like game would be played and I could hear sounds from realtime play. This happens only on certain games like COD4, Farcry3, Bioshock infinite, but not on games like Half-life2, metro2033/last light, COD2(interesting since COD2 and COD4 has basically the same engine)...cod4 freezes always after +- 10 minutes, while farcry3 after 1-2 hours
I tryed to run stress tests on GPU, RAM, CPU (prime95 for 24 hours), I tryed to test my GPU on friends PC (runs perfectly)...I found it doesnt matter if the game runs on dx9 or dx11. Temperatures at max load are on normal level. Only hard reset can help.
My configuration:
nvidia 660ti phantom
z77a g43
16gb RAM
intel i5 3570k
xonar DG
650W power supply
