My friend is going to be purchasing a asus m5a97 r2.0 motherboard soon and I have heard from people that the ram slot is too close to fit a cooler like a cooler master hyper 212 evo. He is using g-skills ripjaws x and I was wondering if anyone who has had experience with this board could tell me if it would possibly fit. Also he only has 2 ram modules. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
