replacing athlon X2 with turion ultra X2

Can this be done? I have a toshiba l505d-s5965 laptop, which has the Athlon QL-65 cpu, and i want to upgrade to the Turion ultra ZM-84. Both are the same socket (S1G2), and i think it would work. Any thoughts?

That extra cache will only really be that beneficial in some selective applications.

What applications are you trying to increase the performance of with this upgrade?
