Anybody else had this? I can run Borderlands 2 at full settings with little to no lag, but when I cap it at 60FPS, which I usually do for games, a weird black kind of squiggly line runs up and down my monitor when I jump and run around. It's no huge and I didn't even notice it until recently but it's annoying. Help!?!?!?

Are you sure that is not tearing? If you cap your FPS and not use v-sync, it is best to not make it a number evenly divided into your monitors refresh rate. Try setting it to 65 FPS instead of 60, or turn on v-sync. If set to the same number as your refresh rate, the tear moves slow enough that you notice it a lot more.

That is what I assumed with my post. If you set a FPS cap at your refresh rate, it will cause a very noticeable tear. More noticeable than if you set it to something else, like 65. The exception would be if you are using v-sync.

I still does so at 60 FPS if I turn V-Sync off though

I'll try to explain better.
You will get terrible tears at 60 FPS if v-sync is off. That is how the technology works. V-sync is the only thing that prevents tearing, so anytime v-sync is off, you get tearing. Normally the tearing moves fast off the screen and you don't notice it all that much, unless your FPS is way beyond your refresh rate.
However, if your FPS and refresh rate are the same, when you get a tear, it tends to stay in one place or move pretty slowly. This makes it extremely noticeable, more so than if your FPS does not match your refresh rate.
If you've ever heard that tearing does not occur unless your FPS is higher than your refresh rate, you have been lied to, or at least given misinformation.
Trust me, set your FPS cap at 55 or 65, do not set it at your refresh rate. It won't matter if you turn v-sync on, as it forces screen updates to only occur during vertical trace mode, but with v-sync off, tearing is the worst when your refresh rate and FPS match.
If you still see a slow moving line, then you may have another problem, but first try the above.

I understood the first time, I'm saying that whether v-sync is on or off I still have these tears. And I would appreciate if you weren't such an asshole about it. You don't need to be a condescending cunt when someone asks for help.

Well, I was not trying to be an ass, but you continued to repeat that you had a 60hz refresh rate and never mentioned even trying what I suggested. If you ignore advice, then I don't know what to say. You could have told me you tried, and I would have been able to move on.
Does this happen in any other games or only borderlands 2?
Btw, when you said, "My refresh rate is 60. Thanks." I can only assume that means you ignored my suggestion.
And when you said: "I still does so at 60 FPS if I turn V-Sync off though" That is exactly the time I said you'd get a tear, so again, you were ignoring my suggestion or not understanding me.
What am I supposed to think. You either don't understand, or won't try.

Well I fixed it by capping my game at 72FPS
