I have the same mobo in my media server/secondary gaming rig. It's been rock solid and one of my favorite mobo's to date.

May I ask what you plan on using the PC for primarily? If it's gaming I would switch to an i5 / Z77 setup. If you plan on doing a lot of editing then the FX8350 is a pretty decent chip for the money.

I will mostly be using it for gaming and high school homework. Which mobo would you recommend for a z77 build?

I have the ASRock Extreme4 which has been great. For a budget, you can go with the Extreme3:

Another awesome deal is the MSI board because NewEgg is shipping it with 8GB of DDR3 for free! It's Crucial Ballistix PC1600 so it's good stuff.

For the best cost, I would go with the MSI setup. That's a smoking deal with the RAM. Put the extra money towards your GPU and you have a kick-ass rig.
