I already have Windows 8 installed on my pc, but I decided it was about time to do a re-install (I like to keep my computer tidy and running fast).

I started the install just as before, with the same BIOS settings, entered my product key and selected custom install. I was then expecting to be able to format my hard drive, only to be met with an error message reading "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click 'Load driver'". Basically, the installer won't detect my hard drive, even though it shows up in the BIOS.

I could have understood this and would look for a SATA driver if this was my first time installing, but everything worked fine last time.

Specs are:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3-iSSD
CPU: Intel i7-2600k
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX460
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64 - bit

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

If you are using a usb drive to install windows with the problem might be the usb port you are using, make sure you are using a usb 2.0 port, if you are using a usb 3.0 port what the install is actually asking for is a usb 3.0 driver not a sata driver.

Sorry, I forgot to say. I'm installing from a disc. The same disc which I used last time I installed Windows 8.
