hey there,

here are 2 options you can get from my point of view that you can use with asus xonar

75W RMS Logitech
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121044&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

50W RMS Creative
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836116049&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Speakers-_-Creative%20Labs-_-36116049&cm_sp=&AID=10440897&PID=3938566&SID=

I'd definitely go for Logitech for quality budget audio systems. If you want a better quality stuff... I'm sorry but $200 wont be enough... For this budget these are the most suitable options.

umm.. for speakers the Xonar STX while being a very nice sound card is actually a two channel stereo card....

however that isn't necessarily a bad thing if you wanting to use this for music (as you only have two ears.) The STX talks about "virtual 7.1" which is for headphones as I understand it. If you are really set on 5.1 surround sound speakers ..I am sad to tell you u have gotten the wrong card =\

however if you are open to 2.0 / 2.1 I'm happy to tell you for $200 you could get something decent rocking...

if you have the space for it stereo receiver (or amp)+ bookshelf speakers + sub == happy (for me at least), for $200 budget you'd need to be open to used gear... as I type this I'm listening to a well under $200 used gear set up.. ($7 Elan Z series Power Amp (bridged to 125WPC) and a $15 Pioneer SP-700D (using as pre amp) and a pair of $40 JBL L1 bookshelf speakers and a $80 polk psw10 sub.

so my example cost $142 everything works perfectly and was in good shape... and sounds fantastic ... now obviously this is used stuff so what you find and what is priced will based on luck / what is available.

but I have a bunch of other stuff that was found by me at various places (thrifts / estate sale /garage sales.. C/L ..etc) that is very nice and was acquired for low dollars.

but if you have no room for full sized stereo amps ... and or you don't want to go used you could still get a nice 2.0 / 2.1 system going for not too much.

if space is at a premium check out t-amps (starting low $20 range for the very inexpensive lepai ) and many other options out there I have a nice sounding ~$60 shipped SMSL SA-S3 t-amp // Pair this with something like polk monitor series bookshelf speakers (and optional sub).

you will be pleased .. I run my SA-S3 w/ a Pair of $70~ (sale when bought) Polk Monitor 30 II speakers ... sounds very good.

For instance;

Logitech 500W RMS Surround 5.1 for $330
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121050&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

I'd say go for Harman Kardon equipments but they are like $600-700

Here is a list from newegg with 5.1 setups
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100008225%20600026965%204017%20600030009&IsNodeId=1&name=Home%20Theater%20Speaker%20System&Order=PRICE&Pagesize=100

Good luck
