Upgrade from H61 to B75 worth it?

Solution
Depends on your goals with this system.

If you're looking for better data transfer performance, SATA 3 disk speeds are great if you get an SSD to go with it. It will not make the data transfers of your HDD any better. If you need fast disk performance, this is the way to go. USB speeds are great for external disk file transfers, but few peripherals, other than USB 3 disks can even utilize or even require USB 3 speeds. Either way, Until you sink additional money into an SSD or USB 3 external disk, this won't make much of a difference to you.

If you're looking for better gaming performance, I'd take the money you're thinking about sinking into a motherboard upgrade, sell your 7770 get a 7950 or gtx 670 or better. You'll notice...
Worth is something only YOU can determine.

I suspect that your answer will be no.
Even if you will buy a SSD(and I highly recommend them) 6gb sata only helps in benchmarks, but will make little difference in normal work.
USB 3.0 is very helpful if you have a need, like for an external backup USB 3.0 device.
But... you can get USB3.0 on your current motherboard by adding a PCIE X1 USB3.0 add in card.

If you need USB 3 support, or plan on upgrading to the fastest SSD's, then yes. The 7 series boards also give support for PCIe x16 3.0 when used with an Ivy Bridge CPU like you have listed. It is not used much now, but future graphics cards should make better use of the faster interface.

Unless you're doing a lot of high volume disk operations regularly, I'd stick with your H61 board and upgrade the video card.

Since I mainly use it for gaming I will spend my money on upgrading the graphics card to HD 8000 series when it comes out.
I don't do file transfer very often so I'll just buy a PCI-E x1 USB 3.0 Card.
I'll just stick with the hard drive for a few more years since I prefer lots of storage space to store my files and games.

Thanks for the help.
I really appreciate with all the advice given.
