Anything I can do with my P8P67 Pro rev 2?

Hey guys, so I have a problem. My computer was freezing and I'd have to hold onto the power button to reset it. After a while my computer did it more frequently to a point where it would give me a black screen and a notice saying "Hark Disk Error" or something. I read that it could be a sata cable issue and so I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked for a day or two and went back to the black screen. So initially I thought it was a hard drive problem, I decided to do an upgrade while I was at it and got a Kingston HyperX 3K 240gb and after a day or two, I finally got it up and running. Problem is that it gives me random BSOD.

Looked into it further and apparently my motherboard P8P67 Pro rev 2 was on recall about two years ago (I know, I know, I should've been more aware). I read that it was the SATA 3gb ports that were causing issues, so I moved all my hard drive ports to the SATA 6gb while leaving my DVD burner on SATA 3gb.

I don't really want to return my SSD but it would give me a BSOD every now and then, I would also get a BSOD if I defrag OTHER drives (read that you shouldn't defrag an SSD so I tried defragging my HDDs), I would also get a BSOD if I try to load music onto winamp.

So now I'm not sure if it's because it's my motherboard P8P67 that was on recall 2 years ago, this Kingston HyperX 3k SSD giving me BSOD or another hardware that's cutting me off. What do I do now? Where do I start? I'm at a lost.

PS: I no longer have the box or receipt for the motherboard so I don't have whatever number that I'd need to ask them to replace it.

Loss of a sales receipt isn't the best idea but since this is a known and acknowledged design fault which was recalled ASUS should honor it. They may ask for the serial number of the board but you shouldn't need the box for that since the S/N is also printed on a sticker on the board itself.

Well after going crazy trying to find my serial number to RMA, it was apparently hiding behind my video card. Got around to dropping it off at the ASUS service center today. Going to take a few days apparently, hopefully they don't give me a rev 2 refurbished one but a rev 3.1 that actually works.
