Installation problem windows 7 on Sabertooth 990

I received BSOD message while attempting to install a fresh windows XP. stop: 0x000 0007E (0xC0000005, 0xF748E0BF, 0xF8DA208, 0xF789D9F08, Pci.sys Address 7F48E0BF base at F7487000 DateStamp 3b7d855c.
My system is composed of:
Sabertooth 990 MB
FX 8150 8Core CPU
2GB Memory for installation
1 TB Seagate HD
I switched memory, video card but problem still persisted, help.

If you are getting a BSOD while installing XP on a 990FX Sabertooth, try changing the hard drive from AHCI (default) to IDE. You may need to install the SATA controller driver when doing this.

Also, installing XP on this board is pretty much a waste.

I hear you, but that is what free dropped off at the house then. I tried switching the BIOS settings to IDE but I did not work. I think that I would need the drivers, which I have no idea how to change within the BIOS. My other option get buy the windows 7. I m hesitating to mess with windows 8 right now.
