Please help...
I did a clean install of Windows XP on an old dell laptop. I FINALLY managed to connect it to my FIOS but can not connect it wirelessly b/c the system can't find a wireless network adapter. It was working before but was sooooo slow.
Thanks for any help!

Lp34,

It sounds as though you have the incorrect or missing wireless driver. If you take a look at device manager, you should be able to see the wireless adapter.

From another computer, go to the manufacturer’s website for the wireless adapter and download the correct driver. You can then save the driver to the removable media of your choice and copy it to your laptop to install.

You should also keep in mind that the Windows XP End of Support date (April 8, 2014) is approaching. It is strongly recommended that users make the move to a modern operating system such as Windows 7 or Windows 8 by then.
