What card should I get between the two?

Hello, I am helping a friend of mine with a build. He has a $120 budget for a video card. I've narrowed it down to these two 7770's by Sapphire.

The first one costs $114.99 and the second one costs $119.99. The only difference between the two is the first one is the standard edition and the second one is factory overclocked. It bumps up the core clock of the standard edition by 100MHz and it bumps up the memory clock by 500MHz.

Is it worth forking out the extra $5 for the overclocked edition? Or should I just stay with the standard edition. Are these the best cards for my $120 budget? Thanks and have a great day!

  1. If you want to OC it yourself, then you can save $5 but would void the warranty. I think it's worth it. The OC one would at least be within the warranty. :)

There is a Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 7770 GHz edition which comes out to $125 after rebate card.

The GTX 650 Ti @mace200200 suggested is good. It's about 10% increase in performance over the HD 7770.

This one blows the others out of the water in performance. If you can stretch another 20$ and are fine with filling in a rebate (Sapphire is pretty good for them from my experience), then it's well worth it.
