I have few questions about my first build, but I'm not to familiar with computers.

My system:
EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW 4GB
i5-3570 3.40GHz
Corsair Vengeance 16GB Ram
Corsair 600T Case
Corsair H100I
Corsair TX 750
Corsair 180 SSD

When I first got it running it was really loud, but I figured out that didn't apply enough thermal paste. My CPU was running at 90 degrees and now it's at 45 degrees. It barely makes any noise when I use it for checking email and watching Hulu. When I play games like FIFA and NBA 2k it gets up to about 55 degrees. However, when I played Battlefield it would get back up to 80 degrees. Black Ops 2 played relatively quiet until I recently start messing with the settings; the temps are in the 70s.

What can I do to improve my temperatures? Also, is there anything that I could do to increase my computers performance? Thanks.

Can you take off the H100i, remove the old thermal paste, and apply more thermal paste and reseat it? It seems like the cooler isn't fully dissipating the heat when the CPU get stressed.

And you can Overclock your GPU if you want additional performance. With that card, you should be able to easily push it to around 1150mhz core and 6500mhz memory if you increase the fan settings to 60-70%. (I got my GTX 670 FTW 2GB to around 1170mhz stable)

Yeah, I can.

How would I overclock my GPU? Is there a tutorial?

you should first download something like the MSI afterburner or EVGA precisionx to overclock your graphics card.

here's a pretty basic guide made just for GTX 670

I already have that. What is the benefit of overclocking and does this link have a tutorial to over clocking a CPU too? I see your CPU is at 4.22.

I changed the guide to a better one. so look up the edited link.

and do you have a 3570 or 3570k? and what motherboard do you have?

3570k and Gigabyte GA Z77MX-D3H mATX. I know that it's small.

Hmm... never overclocked on a Gigabyte before.

If they didn't change their UEFI, it should look like this:

Gigabyte%20Z77MX-D3H%20BIOS%2002%20-%203D%20CPU%20Frequency_575px.jpg

Your CPU cooler should be able to easily bring the CPU up to around 4.6-4.7 ghz clock easy. but that's gonna take a bit more tweaking though...

This video should be a pretty good guide on how to overclock using a gigabyte uefi.

just ignore the part that sets the voltage on auto... it frequently over volts it.....
