I just got an ASUS P8Z77-v Pro board. I plugged the SSD into the 6Gb/s port, it shows in intel rapid storage as 6Gb/s, I'm also using 6Gb/s cables.
I ran a benchmark, and the read speed turned out to be about 397mb/s, when it should be closer to 530mb/s. I have another one that is running on another system, and that one is achieving 527mb/s ish with no problem.
Previously I was running this SSD on 3Gb/s until I just upgraded my system. The drive was ran on a freshly installed system. And I have just trimmed it before running the benchmark.
Anything I might be missing?
