On start up my Gateway Desktop hangs at the Gateway splash screen that displays "F2 Bios" and "F12 Boot Menu" but does not pass this screen and I cannot access any menus on start up. I have tried:
Resetting CMOS jumper
Removing and inserting CMOS battery
Removing CD/DVD drive
Removing each individual RAM stick to see if any are bad
Inserting Vista installation disk.

I cannot access any menus and have tried the stuck key method and have also unplugged all USBs.

I have a 2007 Gateway Desktop running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit

Thank you for your answers

Did you try entering BIOS and then do a Save & Exit?
Sometimes if you change any hardware, reseat something or even just turn off the power to the PC, it changes something or other and the bios wants you to do a manual Save & Exit.
