Samsung R580 spinrite 6 troubles

Do I need HDD drivers to use Spinrite 6? It endlessly tries to detect my hard drive without success. If I need drivers where can I find them?

Windows 7 Home Premium/SP1
64bit
i5 CPU M430@2.27GHz
8GB memory
500GB HDD WD

No drivers necessary to use Spinrite however you do need to go into BIOS and set your HDD Controller to IDE instead of ACHI or RAID mode. Spinrite only works in native IDE mode.
