hi, i'm trying to do a high-end build inside a smaller case (which i already own) and my ideal cooler would be a noctua NH-D14, if i cannot fit that in, does anyone have any idea's of better cooling solutions (including liquid cooling) though my budget for a cpu cooler is around £70 max,

thanks in advance

Solution
It should. Just make sure you don't run them at different voltages. The subject does get more complicated because mixing timing and speed do affect overall performance.

ok thanks, that's good to know i can fit it inside the case because i was mostly worried about the width, i also have an asus m5a97 motherboard and was wondering because i have high profile ram, if i put it in the slot furthest away from the processor if i will clear it (i have a single 8gb card) or i if i need low profile ram anyway to get the cooler in.

if i get more corsair vengeance ram but the low-profile version, will it work okay with the ram i have now?
