Get a pc today or buy xbox now and ps4 in 1 year?

Hi, I'm trying to get best what would you recommend?

Get XBOX 360 250gb + kinect today and wait over 1 year and get PS4 then or build a PC for gaming today? and in 1-2 years a PS4
PC Specs that I can afford:
Intel Core i7 3820 3.6GHZ
GeForce GTX 680 (and probably second in winter as an upgrade)
16GB DDR3 1600MHZ
1TB+128GB SSD

PC gaming is a whole different level. The new consoles are social boxes. get a PC and Wii U and you will be fine

If you want the absolute best quality gaming experience, go with the PC. You could always plug the PC into your TV and do everything you would have with a console?

Get a second 680 when you feel the need and it should last you. Four years is pushing it even for consoles. Consoles stagnate with improvements to their graphics at about year 3. Then you have years of sequels with the hottest selling titles that look the same as the prior edition. At least, at this point, you can upgrade your GPUs on a PC or even CPU/motherboard as necessary. With a console, you're stuck with what you get for the next decade.

The value in these new consoles will be the PC funcionality they bring to the living room. If you already have a PC in the living room, you already have the functionality. The only really compelling features of any of them is the ability to run your cable through the console and the Kinect functionality moving forward on the Xbox One.

At that resolution I suspect the 680 will last a very long time, I think the CPU is what will give out first as games will no doubt become more CPU intensive (Physics hopefully) with the new console gen allowing it.

It is complete nonsense to compare PCs to consoles. The hardware will never catch up in terms of sheer graphics power. Console hardware is made for low power requirements, it's really a step above the hardware used in all in one PCs.
