Yes, but this is better value: http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=59615&vpn=P1550SXXB9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1257
As an addendum, have you purchased those other components yet? If not, there are a number of areas in which that build could be improved.

  5. Top Tier: Seasonic, Antec, XFX.
    Second Tier: Corsair
  6. Keep us posted on the progress of your build.
  7. which psu do you think is the better performer............
  8. is the seasonic x650 going to last.....or should i grab up the antec at 99 dollars
  9. If you like the ANTEC , buy it.It will power your system with ease.Yes I believe THE X650 Seasonic will last, they make high quality power supplies.

Like I state both are great.Have a great build.
  10. envy do you think the antec that bird linked is as good as the x650 one............

For $100. If you want to get 2 GPUs then you should get the 750W PSU. If you will only one GPU then the Antec 620W is great for the price.

Please refrain from typing in bold letters. It's the same as typing in CAPS. Annoying. Thanks.
  13. i will only be using one card.thanks a million for all the help people.i think i'll get the antec that was linked earlier........

That's debatable. All caps is significantly more unsightly than bold, to my mind. More importantly, I tend to advise against calling moderators annoying. :p

I didn't call the person annoying, I called the action of typing in CAPS or bold annoying.

Fair enough. I just tend to live by the motto of "Be polite to everyone and extra polite to moderators".
  18. I have diabetes that caused vision loss in my right eye , and I'm already blind in my left eye , I use bold letters to make it easier for me to decipher what I've posted , so that i can correct errors easier.Sorry if it annoyed you.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Completely understandable, in that case. Bold, as I said, isn't terribly annoying to the eye (at least to me), so I feel you've made a good choice in that regard.
  20. I understand , if you notice most of my posting has edits because I see the errors after they are put in bold.Sorry didn't mean to upst any of the members here.

    Have a great week everyone.

Honestly, your spelling is probably in the 90th percentile for this site. Most folks just don't seem to bother to check spelling before they post. I'm sure that envy was just trying to help improve the overall forum experience, and wasn't meaning to come off as annoyed.

    Have an awesome week. :)

In general, people advise against typing in bold and caps; however, given the explanation it's fair to do so. btw, I know how annoying bad vision can be. I had a retina detachment and now my right eye can't see as bright as before.

All the best to the two of you, and I'm sorry if I came off as rude. Have a good one.
  23. Thanks for understanding my situation! :)
