Hope you're doing well. I've been having trouble all day today trying to setup my microphone on my Razer Chimaera 5.1 headset. Audio works just fine on the headset itself. I've also connected the base to my PC correctly (3.5mm cable from "mic out" on base to microphone port on rear of my pc *pink*).
In windows, the microphone appears to all be setup correctly. Windows recognises the mic being plugged in and present, however it's as if the mic is permanently muted - only it isn't
I've checked all the volume settings in windows via control panel, and everything seems okay. When I speak into the mic, I can hear a faint static in my earphones, but nothing in windows. The "bar" that indicates audio next to the microphone volume in windows isn't moving at all (so windows isn't detecting any audio being received)
If you guys know any simple checks that I can carry out to make sure that everything is configured correctly, that would be great!
