Hello all,
My current set up has 3x Dell 24" U2410F (1920x1200) monitors on an XFX triple stand. I rarely ever use my outside monitors and i don't like how the 3 take up so much space on the desk. I'd really like to switch to 1 high resolution monitor, but to be honest i don't want a gigantic monitor either (i would prefer to avoid 30").

Are there any 23-25" LCDs out there with a high resolution like 2560x1440 or 2560x1600?

Any 4k monitors coming out?

I saw newegg has 3 different 29" monitors that are 2560x1080 ultra wide, which looks really cool - but all the reviews mention problems with the LG, and the Dell is only 8ms. It seems that all 3 of those manufacturers - LG, Dell, AOC are using the same panel. Shouldn't they all have the same refresh rate then too?

Ok - you have peaked my interested in this Auria EQ276W. I also have a microcenter only about 20min away with plenty in stock.

I also see on newegg that LG makes a really nice high end IPS 27" 2560x1440 - but double the price.

Is this LG using the same panel? Do you happen to know if the Auria is better than the LG or vice versa? The LG obviously is more cosmetically pleasing, but again, 2x the price.

Also, i would say my budget is $1k (Around what i will sell my 3x U2410f + XFX stand for).

Your Auria + nice monitor stand + squaretrade warranty looks like a great deal.

I'm going to consider this and will keep looking as well.
I also still have my eye on those
2560x 1080 ultra wide monitors. The AOC is only $450.
