Hi and thank you for your help in advance. I've recently bought a gtx 660 ti. I installed it it worked fine until I updated the drivers. When I updated them I got the BSOD with this error message. STOP: 0x00000116 I took out the graphics card and plugged back into my integrated card, booted up windows normally, and uninstalled the drivers. Can anyone help me out?

I did this and got the same result but I did relize something and I feel like an idiot for not seeing it before instead of the 0x0000007E I got 0x00000116. I thought I had the previous one due to me searching up the problem and getting that code from other people. So now I know its 0x00000116 but still got blue screen.

did you uninstall the old driver in safe mode before installing the new one ?? if no, go to safe mode and uninstall the current driver, go to device manager (start menu right click on computer, manage) and right click on your video card, uninstall device, restart and reinstall the old WHQL driver that was working before and don't forget to check the "Clean install" at the bottom in advanced installation to make sure everything will be replaced

I did as you said and got the same result. At this rate Im ready to return the card for a new one as it may be the card itself if that is possible since it works without drivers. What do you think I should do?
