I'm having a big problem right now, my screen is just black after the windows logo boot up. I know what I did wrong but I don't know how to fix it. What I did was(by mistake), i right clicked on desktop and chose screen resolution on the little menu. It shows me a window with all the screen resolution and stuff. There's two options at the top of the window, it shows two screens with one and two. I usually run the first one but i clicked on the second one and pressed apply. then everything is just gone except the background of my desktop. How do i switch it back to the first one? How do I fix this?

It sounds like you're using two monitors (the only way you'd see two screens in the Display properties window is if there were two monitors detected). Whatever the second connection is, turn that on and use that to switch back to screen 1.

I've also come across one person who was confused by the instructions on setting up a monitor and plugged both video cables into the monitor and computer - which in this case resulted in a blank screen. Check your cables: one connector per monitor!
