I've been kind of freaking out this morning after I turned my laptop on and my cooling fan (I think) made a loud, almost grinding noise until it got to the Windows start-up screen and then it completely stopped.
I read another topic and a user said something about it possibly being due to cold weather and It just needing time to warm up, I had it turned off the whole night and it's only this morning, after it's been below 5 degrees the whole night, that it's happened.
I also had my cooling fan replaced a few weeks before christmas so could it be the fan crapping out again or just the cold weather?
Any help would be wonderful.
