I recently came across an old AT motherboard style computer. But when I received it it was not in working order and I traced the problem back to the power supply. My only problem is the motherboard has an ATX 24-pin power socket for the motherboard, but the old AT power supply had a built in power button, but the newer ATX power supply's do not. I heard somewhere that you can do something to make the motherboard able to be turned on by an ATX power switch, but I know very little about this and I need help on how to turn on the computer using an ATX power switch.

The motherboard has plugs for both AT and ATX power supplies, and I was talking about how on the old power supply the computer power button was wired into the power supply from the front. I would give you the motherboard model and manufacturer but there is no manufacturer listed on the board.
