Problem downloading AC3 from Uplay

Hello peoples, i would really like some help please as i have a problem downloading AC3 from Uplay.
I got the game free with my new graphics card but i when i try to install it, it fails giving an error message about voice files. it allows me to ignore the message but when i try to play it's unplayable, it crashes and goes nuts.
Any ideas on what to do? Thanks

Did the error say "ENG Sound files corrupt or missing" by any chance??? I bet it did =) I had this same flipping problem.

I had the same problem. I DL'ed it, tried to install but got hit with an error. Tried multiple times, but the error persisted. I contacted Ubi tech support and as usual they was as helpful as a chocolate fire-guard. So I tried DL'ing it again, but still the error persisted. On the third DL, which at this point was the final try as the phone lines in my area are being upgraded so by connection is really slow and DL'ing it was taking forever. So, I tried in install the third DL, but for what ever reason I hit cancel to stop the install, can't remember why, and I noticed it gave me a "Check Files" button. So I clicked check files... and on my life, more than half the files were corrupt! So I clicked the button to fix corrupt files and hey presto, it installed, updated and has worked ever since...... well except for all the graphical glitches...... and the random unexplained crashes....... huge frame rate drops...... e.t.c.....

Give this a try mate, it sounds like the same thing.

P.S. I contacted Ubi asking about about all the problems with the game, surprisingly they had no answer except "Try downloading and reinstalling the game" LOL :rofl:

Good old Ubi, they're nothing if not predictable!

GENIUS! just tried it and as you said corruptted files! about a quarter so it seems mine wasnt as bad

i will report back if it works when its finished fixing the bad files.
