Does anyone know how to eliminate a black screen with a blinking cursor on a Windows 7 PC desktop at startup? There are no devices, CD's or DVD's connected to the computer. Checked to make sure the hard drive is the first selection in BIOS. Have tried using the "default settings" option in BIOS to no avail.
