Is there a difference between these 2 boards?

Solution
well which generation core i7? first generation has a different socket so you won't be able to do that. if it is 2nd or 3rd then your good to go. if its upcoming haswell your gonna need a differnet board.whats your processors model number? that way we can tell for sure if its gonna work
