So one day I got a blue screen, seeing as this has happened before I turned off my computer. This time I decided to open up the PC and check it out myself, after closing it and possibly touching the ram I presumed to turn the computer back on. It turned in normally, but the monitor was blank. I tested to see if the monitor was working, it's on, but simply turns to power saver mode instead of displaying anything related to the computer it's connected too.

I immediately thought it was the ram after the monitor seemed alright, so I messed with it probably worsening it. I researched the use and tried to take out my GPU, after taking it out I put the VGA from the monitor into the Inuit in motherboard. No success. I out the GPU back in and admitted defeat. I rewired everything too, and I am even considering just rebuilding the entire thing.

One last thing, I suspect it's the ram because I touched it the most and I may have forgotten to touch a metal object somewhere along the way.

If your power supply died it can look like a no video issue. On your pc have you tried another monitor in case the one your using went bad..Also have you tried clearing the CMOS, if it was a power issue or heat issue the mb may be locked up.

Unfortunately I do not have any monitors in my house, so that test is out. I've messed with the CMOS but I may have done it incorrectly, can you run through the steps to clear it again?
